Are You Hearing This?

Are You Hearing This? is a speculative vignette focused on someone who thinks they’re hearing objects in their room talk to them.
As director, I focused on using various shot types to invoke mood throughout the scene. I utilized long shots to emphasize the distance between the actor and the objects to really drive this feeling in. After shooting, I recorded additional audio for the objects and the environment of the film. I then put all the footage together in Premiere Pro, combining all of the shots to create a tightly edited, but moderately paced short film. Finally, I added in the audio through Adobe Audition to create layered sound design.
