A Talk with Death

A Talk with Death is a speculative vignette focused on dialogue between two characters in an apartment setting.
As cinematographer, I focused on using various shot types to invoke mood throughout the scene. I created a clear shot list and lighting plan, intentionally framing the actors in ways that fit the script of the short. I adapted on the fly when certain elements did not work as intended, adjusting my positions with the camera to compensate. After completing shooting, I put all the footage together in Premiere Pro, combining shots together in a way that flowed together in a coherent manner, ensuring that the final product was tightly edited.
